Curs de dezvoltare de aplicații pentru tablete și telefoane Windows

Petru JucovschiÎn cadrul Tech Fest din Iași (3-4 martie), Sibiu (6-7 martie), București (10-14 martie) și Timișoara (17-18 martie) avem și câte un training de o zi dedicat celor care vor să învețe cum se dezvoltă aplicații pentru Windows Phone și pentru Windows 8. Având în vedere că vânzările de Windows Phone merg foarte bine (conform IDC suntem peste vânzările de iPhone în 24 de țări), iar baza instalată de Windows 8 a depășit deja 200 milioane de unități, din ce în ce mai mulți dezvoltatori și firme de software consideră Windows ca o platformă viabilă pentru modelul ”application store” de dezvoltare/business. Vă recomand cu căldură trainingul hands-on din cele patru orașe (update: în Cluj nu avem training fiindcă ne suprapunem cu Innovation Days) livrat de prietenul nostru Petru Jucovschi. Petru începe lejer cu principiile de design și intră apoi puternic pe dezvoltarea practică a primei voastre aplicații pentru Windows Store și apoi pentru Windows Phone Store (da, deocamdată sunt separate). Cei care țineți pasul cu el puteți chiar să vă publicați aplicația, pentru a vedea întreaga experiență, până la capăt. Veniți cu laptopul vostru cu Windows 8.1 și Visual Studio 2013 instalate.

Programul „rabla” pentru Windows XP și Office 2003

Azi am avut o conferință de presă despre încetarea suportului pentru Windows XP și Office 2003 la data de 8 aprilie 2014. Dan Tofan de la CERT-RO a șocat un pic audiența când din raportul de analiză pe primele 6 luni ale lui 2013, a scos asta:

Peste 80% din IP-urile compromise (din România), ce fac parte din rețele botnet, rulează sistem de operare din gama XP/2000.

Dacă ești firmă mică/medie și ești încă pe Windows XP și/sau Office 2003, acum e momentul să treci la Windows 8 și Office 365 prin promoția http://microsoft.ro/modern.

Cursuri online de dezvoltare pe Windows 8

În a doua jumătate a lunii martie vom avea o serie de cursuri online gratuite pentru partenerii din Microsoft Partner Network. Recomand aceste cursuri pentru toți partenerii care au competența Application Development (fosta ISV sau Web Development) Silver sau Gold, sau pentru cei care ați achiziționat MAPS D&D (Microsoft Action Pack Subscription for Development & Design). Cursurile vor fi disponibile în PLC (Partner Learning Center) în limba engleză.

In this 2-hour webcast we introduce Windows 8 features relevant to developers: Windows RT APIs, Windows 8 store application packaging, deployment and execution model. We then focus on the application lifetime – activation, application data sharing. Windows 8 App Certification and Windows Store

This 1:30h webcast discusses the certification process for Windows 8 Store Applications. It discusses the check-list data to fill for and application submission to the Store and explains what information is shown when your application is listed in the Store. Then the certification process is explained: the automated technical test and the manual content test executed by Store testers. We will comment of the most common top 10 reasons why applications fail the certification and how you can get help from Partner Services to resolve them.

In this 2 hour presentation we will demonstrate how Windows Azure Mobile Services can simplify Windows 8 application development.
We will demonstrate how this service simplifies the storage of data into the cloud database, how you can authenticate easily with various authentication providers and how you can leverage this service for sending push notifications to the Windows 8 clients.

Buhnici și-a pus Windows 8 pe Mac să vorbească despre WOWZAPP la ProTV

George Buhnici și echipa iLikeIT a făcut un reportaj foarte fain de la hackatonul WOWZAPP din weekendul trecut de la The HUB Bucharest:

La WOWZAPP București au fost 150 de programatori care au consumat 400 de energizante, 2000 litri de răcoritoare și o tonă de mâncare, dar au creat 35 de aplicații. Câteva sunt atât de faine încât abia aștept să le văd în Store.
